Product Description

The Spitfire was the Royal Air Force's main fighter plane throughout World War II. This plastic model assembly kit features the Mk.Vb, which appeared mid-war and was the most widely produced. In addition to the Spitfire's distinctive elegant style, the Mk.Vb's distinctive features, such as its wing mounted with a powerful 20mm cannon, are faithfully reproduced. The wing can be assembled with two truncated wingtips or a standard oval wing. Two types of front canopies and three types of rear canopies can be installed. Two types of dust-proof air filters are also included for the underside of the nose, allowing for assembly as the TROP type used in the North African Campaign. Includes decals for four models and a display stand.
