Athena head lettuce seeds 1g - TORSEED
Atena butter lettuce. A universal greenhouse variety, for early, winter and late winter harvesting. Adapted to cultivation in conditions of lower light intensity and reduced temperature.
It stands out from other varieties because of its early harvest. The first commercial heads weighing over 150g are achieved within 30 days of planting. The yield is very large, even, 95-100% of the marketable yield in the total yield.
The heads are spherical-oval, large, tight, hard, closed. Leaves are dark green, with a smooth surface and delicate. The variety is distinguished by a reduced tendency to accumulate nitrates. Resistant to downy mildew of lettuce NL 1-6, 9, 11-14. Recommended spacing is 20x20 cm, i.e. Approx. 25 plants/m². Adapted to cultivation in limited amounts of soil.
