The Choshi Electric Railway 2000 series was transferred from Iyotetsu in two two-car sets and began operation in 2010.
The 2001 series was painted in the Choshi Electric Railway's old blue-based paint scheme and was active as a Taisho-era romantic train, but was retired in March 2024.
The 22000 series was transferred from Nankai Electric Railway in August 2023 and began commercial operation in March 2024.
It features the green-based paint scheme of the Nankai Electric Railway 22000 series, and the car numbers 22007 and 22008, which were assigned at the time of manufacture.
This is a commercial version of the Choshi Electric Railway cars that appeared and were retired in March 2024.
By using a separately sold power unit and N gauge running parts, it can be run as an N gauge model train.
The recommended power unit for the 2000 series is the TM-06R (18m class A), and for the 22000 series it is the TM-05R (17m class A). The recommended running parts set is the TT-04R. The recommended pantographs are PG16 [0238] for the 2000 series and [0258] for the 22000 series.
