This is our original goshuincho shoulder bag/pouch (with lining) made from Nishijin brocade fabric from Kyoto. (It is a shoulder-type goshuincho case with a shoulder strap.)
When visiting temples and shrines, a shoulder-type pochette is very convenient as it leaves both hands free. (It is also easy to take out and put in your goshuincho (stamp book) or offering pouch.)
