The cover is made of a highly transparent clear material that's not only resistant to stains, but the pocket also allows you to customize the cover by inserting photos, postcards, etc. The included refills include the four-sectioned "Refill Block," ideal for diary entries and reviews; the "2mm Grid Refill," which allows for organization by category and easy writing in small letters; and the flexible "Daily Grid Refill," which uses the month, day of the week, and date format at the top to easily number dates. Five of each are included. In addition to the refills, the set also includes three paper index sheets to help divide and mark pages, and one each of three colored paper envelope pockets with lids and windows for storing stickers and other small items. The "Refill Block" is divided into four pages, making it ideal for keeping a diary with one square per day. It has a date column and weather icons, making daily recording easy. The "2mm Grid Refill" has a 2mm grid that makes it easy to write in small letters. You can write the date and a simple title on the left side, and notes on the right side. There are guides on the lines dividing the left and right sides, and by aligning them with the dots and drawing horizontal lines, you can divide a page into seven equal parts. This format can also be used for short diary entries, recording meetings, or keeping track of movies and books you've watched. The "Daily Grid Refill" features a flexible 5mm grid. You can mark dates by circling the month, day of the week, and date at the top, allowing you to record one page per day or one event per page. You can also write a title in the space to the left of the date. The cover has a separate front and back cover, so it has no spine. Like a ring notebook, the cover can be folded back 360 degrees for compact use. It is easy to use in limited spaces, such as a desk at home. The refills inside can be removed and replaced using the slit ring holes, which allow you to remove and replace the refills from the four rings at the top and bottom of the notebook.
