I received the endoscope with no protective packaging what so ever, not even a padded envelope or bubble wrap. It seems to be ok and no physical damage is apparent. When i attach it to the mobile the led`s work and dim as required. A pop up appears showing that my mobile is good for OTG. I tried to follow the instructions to install software but camera shows o image on software. I tried to install different software from play store but nothing. The QR code provided takes you to a chinese site which on the first screen lets you translate in English but the second screen is just a picture so no English translation is possible. Now all i have is just a small led light but no endoscope.
I thought I'd bought a turkey at first but although finding a downloadable app was difficult at first, I found that USBcamera.apk worked although the picture looks bad at first but if you set the definition to 640*480, it works fine and I'm sure that's the case for other similar apps. The screw on angle mirror is good too but also make sure you peel off the protective plastic coating on the mirror first (schoolboy stuff I know but something a lot of people don't consider). It's a bit fiddly and you'll probably need tweezers. The magnet and hook attachments will mean this will probably come in very useful in future.
Received in European Union after 5 weeks. The parcel's tracking number wasn't valid, I cannot found it in my country's Postal service Track and trace database, not even after receiving the package. Packed in a little plastic bag, the device arrived undamaged. The endoscope works, low to average picture quality: max. 640x480 resolution at 14 frames per second in video mode. No user manual unfortunately, do not know how to use the accesories.
The camera is equipped with a USB micro with a reduction to USB A. This is not mentioned in the description. I thought that current phones already have USB C as standard. The QR code in the instructions does not refer to the Play Store, but to a proven application. For me and many people, it is therefore not worth even 10 cents. I do not recommend it for current phones.
