Based on reviews, I took a 41 for my 39. They are a little big for me, so if your foot is not 25.5 but 25, they might be a little big.. The quality of the shoes is average, but they are lightweight, look decent, and are suitable for everyday wear. I hope they last me for 1 season, because I'm not sure that with my not very careful way of wearing shoes they will last until the end of summer, but we'll see if they rub and if they withstand my style of wear.

For size 39 you should take 41. They are great, light, but I doubt they are leather. There is a slightly unsightly seam on the heel.
