If you can only charge the phone and not the watch and headphones, a combination device makes no sense because that's why I got it to get rid of the cable mess but if only the phone is charged then the thing absolutely does not do its job

Do not charge Airpods on this charger under any circumstances!!!!!! They get very hot and I don't mean very hot. I ordered 2 chargers and both heat up to the point of boiling water.
