Small perennial plant with a mint-like appearance and a scent slightly reminiscent of thyme. The white horehound, once very widespread, has fallen slightly into disuse. Yet pretty and full of aromatic virtues, it is a medicinal plant used since antiquity.

Appreciated by bees, it is also used as manure to combat caterpillars.. It particularly likes poor, dry and well-drained soil.. The white horehound is very resistant to cold and drought, it grows very well in pots.
