ONION GLOBO 2g - Vegan

Late variety (growing season 170 –;175 days), recommended for growing from seedlings. When growing from seedlings (sowing in early February) forms onions weighing 700-1000 g.;(when sown directly into the ground, it produces bulbs weighing 200-300 g). Globo tolerates short-term frosts. The bulbs are broadly oval with straw-yellow skin. A very tasty salad variety, recommended for direct consumption. Not suitable for long-term storage. Flavonoids contained in onions have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties; may play an important role in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and some types of cancer.
