The size I wanted is too big

Received the knife well-packaged. But I made a mistake with the size. The chopper lid doesn't fit into its place, it's literally 0.5 cm too big. And now I'm wondering what to do with it?

I received everything. Everything is in place, disassembled.. Doesn't differ from the original. Blades are strong enough. I hope it's stainless steel.
