Born in Hualien, spent her childhood in an Ami village, and moved to Taipei at age 7. He moved to Yilan in 2011 in search of a slow life with his partner Chen Guanyu (ex- Jiaogong Band), a music producer. In the same year, the 1st album “Light Life My Carefree Life” won the Golden Melody Award (Golden Melody Award), which is called the Taiwanese Grammy Award, the Best Native Singer Award, and the Best Aboriginal Language Album Award. The 2nd album “Beautiful Time A Beautiful Moment” was released in 2015.

In 2017, they performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL and performed in Japan, and performed with Hatakeyama Miyuki. In 2018, a performance was held with Motochitose as a guest. For this work, Ryuhei Koike (BonoBS/LITTLE TEMPO) participated in arranging the guitar and 4 recorded songs. They recorded in Taiwan in 2020/2, just before it became difficult to travel around the world due to .

Short Story Collection Overview

This is Ellie Kaoru's first attempt at novelizing music. Each recorded song has a story. A sad story of a young man who lived during Japanese rule, and a love story filled with the sweet and sour taste and impulses of youth. Other than that, it invites listeners to the world of stories created by music, such as myths handed down by the Ami people.
