The product is received correctly in its original packaging and comes with a seal that I don't know if it is from official Canon or the distributor, but the lens is correctly protected inside as from the factory. I did feel the zoom ring somewhat loose. But being of external movement "the lens becomes longer", it seems that those tolerances are different from my Canon 70-200 IS lenses which are much smoother. The focus seems to work correctly, so I haven't found any issues and I can say that everything is as expected.
