There are two optional mounting methods, which can be locked directly to a cold shoe mount or to a bracket with a 1/4"-20 interface such as the 4899, 4900, or 4194. The cold shoe mount has a built-in spring. Cold mount for most wireless microphones such as the DJI Compatible Mic 2 (see notes below for details on compatible models) The shoe is designed to be inserted in one direction to avoid accidental slipping. The cold shoe is removable and a 1/4"-20 locating hole is also provided on the bottom of the separate cold shoe to connect to any bracket with the same interface.
