Please read carefully and check with the pictures that you have the same engine
This is made from 1.5mm Stainless Steel. It has been rumbled to make it smooth and give it an abraded surface that also helps give a better seal, plus removes all sharp edges. Slotted, so is easy to fit, and pictures show where it fits.
It gives a cleaner pickup at lower revs, because it blocks the exhaust gas being recycled.
Freelander's can be blocked fully up to late 2009. 2010 on they are Euro5 so it will put the EML on (they use different software to Fords).
This fits: The PSA DW12 2.2L engine only, pictured.

Evoque with the PSA 2.2L engine only (will not fit the later Ingenium 2.0L engine).
Jaguar XJ (X351) 2009 MODAL ON . (will not fit the later Ingenium 2.0L engine).
Easy to fit blanking plate, fits between EGR valve and exhaust gas recirculate pipe and there is no need to remove EGR or recirculate pipe to fit, 5 /10 minute job. Remove the engine cover Just undo the two nuts( but not take of), slip the plate in, and re-tighten the nuts. There is not always a gasket fitted from new.
Benefits of blocking EGR:
1. Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.
2. Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs
3. Prevents soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power
4. Smoother drive
5. Less smoke, so will help it pass the MOT
6. DPF stays cleaner for longer, so less regeneration's
Will NOT fit 2.0 L-Series engine. Will also not fit the BMW engines.
