Brand Introduction
Hamilton was established in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA. It gained fame for developing the first pocket watch 'Broadway Limited',
which was used as a tool to tell accurate train times. In 1914, it was selected as a supplier for the United States Air Force,
and from 1919, it provided services for skiing events and the United States Postal Service. In the 1930s, it was used as the official watch
for many airlines, and during World War II in 1947, it temporarily halted public sales to manufacture nearly a million military watches.
In 1970, it introduced the world's first digital watch, 'Pulsure', and in 1977, it was acquired by the SSIH Group,
and in 1983 it entered SMH, currently positioning itself as a brand under the Swatch Group.
