Convenient Grid Line Backing
To make installation even easier, our blackout window film comes with a backing film that has a convenient grid line design
Measure the target window surface. Cut the film to the required size. Leave an extra 1" margin on each side for later adjustment.
Clean the window thoroughly. Make sure the surface is completely clean and smooth without any oil or dust.
Generously spray enough water onto the window surface.
Peel off the transparent backing film before the installation and spray the water onto the side of the film for which you will apply to the window surface.
Starting at the top, install the film onto the target surface. Smoothen the film using your hands or a towel.
Use a squeegee to remove all the water and air bubbles by wiping down the film carefully and firmly.
Use a utility knife to trim off the excess edges. Smoothen the entire film again.
