Product Introduction

Tomica Limited Vintage Neo 1/64 scale die-cast miniature car (pre-painted and assembled). 2019 marks the 15th anniversary of the TLV and the 60th anniversary of the Datsun Bluebird. The Bluebird, a representative Japanese passenger car, enjoyed success worldwide, leveraging its ruggedness and solidity in motorsports such as rallies. A relatively recent model, particularly well-known, is the SSS-R, based on the 8th generation (U12). Based on the U12, which was the first to feature the ATTESA 4WD system, this competition-spec vehicle featured a roll bar as standard and initially only two seats, making it a very spartan vehicle. The TLV-NEO model is based on the early U12 Bluebird, with modified die-cast bodywork to create the SSS-R. The interior, which differs significantly from the standard car, and many of the resin parts, such as the stone guards, are newly manufactured to recreate the early SSS-R. Available in two colors: the production model and the Team Calsonic spec that dominated the 1988 All Japan Rally Championship.
