Based on the concept of minerals that have served as guideposts for adventurers, this limited edition G-SHOCK metal-covered series incorporates newly developed technology. The metal bezels of each model are forged, IP painted, and masking techniques are used to express the brilliance of minerals. The bands, meanwhile, feature a unique texture achieved through techniques such as skeletonized material, hot stamping, and Galar molding. The dials feature "SINCE 1983" to commemorate the 40th anniversary, while the case back features the 40th logo designed by Eric Haze, who also designed the G-SHOCK 25th, 30th, and 35th anniversary logos. The band ring is engraved with a star symbol representing the number 40 and "SINCE 1983," making these limited edition models truly worthy of their status.
