This set features the luxurious “Excellence Class” passenger car, newly introduced to the Glacier Express in 2019. The Glacier Express is a world-famous Swiss panoramic tourist train, well known in Japan, that travels across the European Alps from Zermatt to St. Moritz. Operated jointly by the Rhaetian Railway and the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway, the journey takes approximately 8 hours and offers breathtaking alpine scenery.
This updated release incorporates the latest rolling stock specifications, including the new Excellence Class car, as well as revised interiors and seat colors for the existing first- and second-class passenger cars. The Ge 4/4 III locomotive is also reproduced with updated exterior details, allowing you to enjoy the current appearance of the Glacier Express.
