As with the pre-amplifier section, this circuit uses the Texas Instruments audio op-amp "NE5532" (DIP socket type), so you can adjust the sound quality by replacing the op-amp. ■ Active filter installed in the op-amp IC power supply An active filter is configured in the power supply circuit to the operational amplifier, providing a clean power supply and achieving high sound quality. ■ High sound quality achieved through efficient placement of bulk capacitors The power supply smoothing capacitor is a large-capacity 8100μF W series from Nippon Chemi-Con Corporation. Combined with a 330μF ELNA RE3 (85°C type) placed right next to the digital amplifier IC "TDA7498", this achieves a smooth, expansive sound quality that does not lose its volume even at high volumes. ■ Carefully selected parts The input coupling capacitor to the front-stage operational amplifier uses an ELNA audio-grade 85° capacitor, and the digital amplifier IC input coupling capacitor uses a TDK EPCOS film capacitor. On the output side, the inductors are TDK power inductors, a standard in digital amplifiers, and the output filters are TDK EPCOS film capacitors, which are well-known for their reliability, such as the Arcotronics/AV R82 63V/0.22μF (Made in Italy) metallized film capacitor.
