Scarlet Demon Castle Remilia II: Phantom Requiem" is the sequel to "Scarlet Demon Castle Remilia: Scarlet Symphony," a side-scrolling action game featuring characters from the globally popular "Touhou Project."

Like the previous game, popular illustrator Akira Banpai has created a dark and bold character design that makes the most of the characters' original charm. This "Touhou Gothic Horror Action" game features the fun of a full-fledged action game and the unique elements of bullet hell and floating.

This new game also features full voice acting by a stellar cast of voice actors and increased game content. It has also been improved in every aspect from the previous game, with even more stunning graphics, luxurious sound, and controllability.

This time, the protagonist is Sakuya Izayoi, and the story follows her as she searches for the suddenly disappeared Remilia and her companions and the spring that never comes, and heads to the supposedly disappeared "Scarlet Demon Castle." In addition, after completing the main story, an additional epilogue scenario will be unlocked. This is an even more upgraded version, with additional features not found in the original version including a boss rush mode and the appearance of the previous game's protagonist, Reimu Hakurei, as a playable character.
