It features one card pocket on each side, and the top closure is secured with a snap button. The small window on the front is positioned so that the Suica penguin's face is just visible. (Compatible with designs issued from January 2009 onwards.) The back features a sliding window, ideal for storing frequently used cards like bus cards. Made from full-tanned cowhide leather, the surface is treated with wax. This leather is characterized by the presence of a white waxy powder called bloom on the surface. As the wax is rubbed into the leather through frictional heat, the color gradually deepens and a soft luster emerges. [Leather Notes] The surface color and bloom will vary from piece to piece depending on the individual item, the part of the leather, and temperature and humidity. In order to preserve the natural look and feel of the leather, the surface is not treated with a protective coating. Therefore, scratches and other marks may appear on the bloom during the manufacturing process, storage, or transportation. Please note that this is a natural characteristic of leather.
