The DCR system works with standard tapered steers with a 1-1/8" upper diameter, but requires a 52mm (1.5") upper headset bearing OD. The stem leaves space for the cables to fit in the gap between the headset bearing and the fork. The VINCI stem system features special spacers that provide clearance for the housing cables. The spacers are designed with a slit that allows you to pull them open, allowing you to add or remove them without having to disconnect all the cables. When combined with the Deda handlebars that are compatible with the DCR system, the VINCI is designed to allow for fully internal cable routing. By combining the handlebars and stem with the same product, you can further enhance aerodynamic performance.
