★School Spirit
Cultivating talent who contribute to global culture
With a coeducational education system from elementary school through university, we aim to cultivate "global citizens" who will lead the way in peace and culture in the 21st century, guided by our educational principles of "healthy giftedness" and "humane meritocracy."
★Environment
A lush, green campus
Located in a lush, green environment, the school is located in the lush Musashino area along the Tama River. Our elementary, middle, and high school districts are adjacent to each other, providing numerous opportunities for interaction through school events, club activities, and more.
The school offers Wi-Fi and excellent ICT education. Sports facilities, including a gymnasium, field, and pool, are also available. Dormitories (for boys and girls) and boarding houses (for girls) are also available for students from rural areas.
★Curriculum
Cultivating global citizens through English education and inquiry-based learning
Under the motto of "leaving no one behind," we conduct interactive learning-based classes. Students are required to take "inquiry" classes and write a "graduation thesis" as a culmination of their three years of study.
As a member of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Super Global High School (SGH) Network," the high school is committed to cutting-edge education utilizing ICT.
Three-year courses include English conversation classes taught by foreign instructors and online, with over 60% of students achieving CEFR level B1 (equivalent to EIKEN Grade 2 or above) and approximately 10% achieving B2 (equivalent to EIKEN Grade Pre-1 or above) by the time of graduation.
In their third year, students can choose to study German, Chinese, Spanish, French, Russian, or Korean. After school, students can participate in study groups for each language to deepen their intercultural understanding.
From their second year, students are divided into humanities and science classes.
★School Life
Club Activities: A Success
Club activities are actively encouraged from the perspective of human development. Athletics include the baseball team, which has competed in the Koshien tournament, and the soccer club. Cultural activities include the brass band and chorus clubs, and the debate and koto clubs have achieved excellent results.
School events include the three major "Wisdom Day," "Glory Day," and "Passion Day," as well as various fieldwork programs.
