[Product Description]

This is a plastic model kit that requires assembly and painting. Tools, paint, etc. are required separately.

This is a 1/48 scale plastic model kit of the Imperial Japanese Navy Type 96 Carrier-Based Fighter Model 2 from Fine Molds.

The Type 96 Carrier-Based Fighter is said to have propelled Japan, which was lagging behind Europe and the United States in fighter design at the time, to the top level.

In his book, chief designer Jiro Horikoshi recalls that it was an even more impressive design than the Zero fighter.

The early model of the Type 2 Model 2 in particular featured an enclosed windshield and a distinctive fuselage shape.

This kit recreates that distinctive form using a completely new design and new mold. This marks the first time the early model of the Type 2 Model 2 has been made into a plastic model.

This product is an unpainted assembly kit.

Assembly and painting are required.
