Synopsis

In this second installment of the hugely successful slasher film series, Jason, a killer who will forever be etched in horror film history, makes his full-fledged appearance. Steve Miner, the assistant producer of the first film, makes his directorial debut, thrillingly depicting a new chapter in the blood-soaked legend. Carl Fullerton, who would later become famous for his work on films like "The Wolfen" and "The Silence of the Lambs," was chosen for the special effects makeup, resulting in a series of escalating horror scenes, including Jason's gruesome face covered in cloth, a machete smashing a face open, and a couple impaling each other in bed with a spear.
