Billy Joel's 5th album, *The Stranger*, which included the 1977 hit "Just the Way You Are," is being released on vinyl in 2021 with newly remastered audio.

Released in 1977, this album, produced by Phil Ramone and recorded at A&R Studios on 52nd Street in New York, is a brilliant masterpiece that shines brightly in the history of popular music. It features a string of hits, including the rock number "Movin' Out" (peaked at #17), which centers on young people working in the big city; "Just the Way You Are" (peaked at #2), which won Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the 21st Grammy Awards in 1978; the rock and roll hit "Only Good People Die Young" (peaked at #24); and the beautiful love ballad "She's Always a Woman" (peaked at #17). This album, filled with masterpieces, became a worldwide hit, catapulting Billy Joel to superstardom. "Stranger" was not released as a single in the US, but became a huge hit as a single released only in Japan. A new remastered version was released on vinyl in 2021.
