Product Introduction

Kenko lens filters are a classic choice, and from the PRO1D filter series comes the new generation 'PRO1D Lotus' series, which has evolved with water-repellent and oil-repellent functions. Named after the lotus leaf, which repels water droplets like beads and remains clean at all times, the 'PRO1D Lotus' series features a water-repellent and oil-repellent coating that strongly repels water and oil. The metal frame is treated with hard anodizing, and the glass clamp spring is corrosion-resistant, ensuring durability in harsh environments and resistance to water and dirt. The PRO1D Lotus ND series is a neutral-density filter series achieved through vacuum deposition technology, providing extremely high neutrality. Unlike ND filters made of solid glass or resin, which tend to transmit near-infrared light and cause color cast, the vapor-deposited ND filters uniformly reduce light across all wavelengths, reproducing natural colors. Suitable for both still photography and video, and thanks to the water- and oil-repellent coating, it is easy to handle unexpected dirt or water droplets. The lens mounting screw has been treated with a new 'Dry Lubrication' process. This lubrication process, also used on the surface treatment of aperture blades, allows smoother attachment and detachment, reducing jamming.
