* It appears that the early model Aqua does not have the standard wiring from the spiral cable in the steering column to the engine ECU. Therefore, to install this product on an early model Aqua, you will need to purchase a product that includes the ECU connection cable, not this product.
* Depending on the grade, manufacturer options, and model year, this product can be installed directly on mid-to-late model NHP10 series Aquas (including late model 10 series Aquas).
However, because the early model Aqua does not have the standard wiring from the spiral cable in the steering column to the engine ECU, if you wish to install this product on an early model Aqua, you will need to purchase the ECU connection cable instead of this product.
(Wiring work to the ECU at the passenger footwell is required.)
