This is a drumstick made of oak. Please use it in conjunction with the separately sold "Go no Hibiki" series long drum 1 shaku 3 sun (HT-N13), 1 shaku 4 sun (HT-N14), flat drum (HT-H12), and shime drum (HT-S20).
It has very high hardness and can be played with a firm sound. It is highly durable, has a nice edge-beating tone, and produces a thick and powerful tone typical of Japanese drums.
Oak drumsticks are a material recommended for those who want to play professionally with loud sounds.
It depends on the school and the physique of the player, so I can't make a general statement, but generally we recommend a size of φ24 x 360mm/390mm.
For children to play, we recommend smaller drumsticks such as those with a thickness of 21 mm x 330 mm.
