Hot Toys' "Movie Masterpiece" series adds Tony Stark (Mecha Test/2.0 Version) to the lineup from the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, "Iron Man"! Tony Stark, the genius engineer and CEO of the massive defense contractor Stark Industries, was kidnapped by a terrorist organization and forced to develop weapons. He pretended to comply with the demands, but secretly developed Iron Man Mark 1 and successfully escaped. After this incident, he vowed to fight for world peace and holed himself up in his workshop to begin development of Iron Man Mark 2. After much trial and error testing the flight function, he succeeded in floating while controlling the direction, albeit unsteadily. This was the first step in developing Iron Man's flight function, which would later undergo dramatic evolution. Tony Stark, who appears in "Iron Man," is recreated as a high-end 1/6 scale figure, standing approximately 30 cm tall and featuring over 32 points of articulation. The head, which has been cleared for Robert Downey Jr.'s portrait rights, is individually hand-painted to recreate the texture of the skin, facial hair, and wrinkles. The gray T-shirt and dark green pants worn over them, along with the Mark II prototype arc reactor, exposed mechanical structures on the arms and boots, wires, belt, and kneepads, are meticulously crafted with meticulous attention to detail and materials, right down to the texture. Five LEDs—the chest arc reactor, the repulsor beam launchers on both hands, and the small jets on the soles of both feet—light up with white LEDs. The boots on both feet also feature blue LEDs. A variety of interchangeable hand parts allow you to recreate numerous memorable scenes from the film. The base features a special design with a print of the workshop floor and the character's name. A backboard designed to resemble the workshop is also included. The base features a dedicated flexible pillar that can be freely adjusted to hold the base, allowing you to recreate flight test scenes. Tony Stark, now in his 2.0 version, is undergoing a mechanical test run of Iron Man, reimagined with the latest technology. This item, capturing his charm to the fullest, is a must-have!
