Key ingredients & functions (typical for pore‑blurring, high‑protection sunscreens — check the product label for exact INCI)
UV filters (chemical and/or physical; e.g., avobenzone, octocrylene, homosalate, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, or mineral filters such as zinc oxide/titanium dioxide) — provide broad‑spectrum protection against UVA and UVB.
Blurring/film‑forming agents (silica, dimethicone, polymethylsilsesquioxane, nylon‑12) — create a soft‑focus effect that minimizes the appearance of enlarged pores and fine lines.
Mattifying / oil‑absorbing powders (silica, talc alternatives) — reduce shine and help control sebum for a smoother finish.
Skin‑conditioning agents (glycerin, butylene glycol, squalane, esters) — provide lightweight hydration and prevent tightness.
Pore‑refining actives (niacinamide, mild astringents, or botanical extracts — possible) — improve skin texture and evenness with continued use (verify label).
Antioxidants and soothing agents (tocopherol, panthenol, allantoin) — protect and calm skin; useful for sensitive or acne‑prone skin.
Preservatives, emulsifiers, and stabilizers — ensure product integrity.
