Product Description
* Highly sensitive measurement of hexavalent chromium at ppb levels in just 10 minutes of operation.
* Useful for numerical control of test solutions in various elution tests, such as RoHS-related samples and soil samples.
* This product is a reagent set that uses the color development principle of the diphenylcarbazide spectrophotometric method (JIS K 0102 65.2.1) to react with hexavalent chromium dissolved in the test water to form a reddish-purple complex. This complex is then extracted into an emulsion-like hydrophobic ion aggregate, collected and concentrated on a membrane, and eluted for measurement using spectrophotometric method.
* In approximately 10 minutes of operation, a concentration ratio 12.5 times higher than conventional spectrophotometric methods (25 mL of test water/2 mL of measurement solution) is achieved, allowing for easy measurement of hexavalent chromium at ppb levels.
* The water quality environmental standards for hexavalent chromium, the soil elution standards under the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act (0.05 mg/L or less each), and the specific groundwater leachate standards under the Water Pollution Control Act (less than 0.04 mg/L) can be determined on-site. High-sensitivity measurement is possible for various elution tests, including those for electrical and electronic components related to the RoHS directive.
* This product utilizes the principle of membrane concentration using a membrane filter.
