Preparation before use: The entire surface is coated with clear lacquer to prevent rust during distribution. Please remove the coating before use. Then, add a generous amount of oil and fry the vegetable scraps thoroughly to coat them evenly.
How to remove the paint: Wash with a sponge soaked in dish soap and wipe off any excess water. Place on the stove top and heat over medium heat. When the frying pan gets hot, increase the heat and cook from the center to the sides until the entire pan turns a bluish color.
Note: Because the product is made of iron, storing it with moisture or dirt on it may cause rust. If rust occurs, remove the rust, wipe off any moisture, and apply oil before storing.
Caution: Do not soak or put in the dishwasher as this may cause rust.
