The EMAD2 Clear bass drum head includes two interchangeable urethane mute rings (damping rings) of different widths, allowing you to easily adjust the mute level without removing the bass drum head. Compared to the original EMAD bass drum head, the EMAD2 uses a 7-mil outer and 10-mil inner film, two plies, for increased attack and durability.
EMAD Resonant: The 7.5-mil, single-ply film features a harmonic control ring inside for a tight, thick bass drum sound. The 4-inch microphone sound hole also features a removable EMAD damping ring, allowing you to control harmonics and tone for a clear, well-miced sound.
