Revoltech is a "collectible" figure collection series, releasing two figures simultaneously each month. This figure features the "revolver joint," a concept conceived by TOYTRIBE, a toy brand created by manga artist Yasuhiro Naito and designer Noriyuki Jinguji. The "revolver joint" bends at large angles with a satisfying clicking sound, securely retains its position no matter how much it's bent, and is a new concept in universal joint parts, eliminating the problem of wear and tear caused by repeated bending. Apart from the articulated parts, the simple structure allows for free insertion and removal, making it possible to swap limbs between different figures and repurpose the same joint for various other figures. This revolutionary part offers new possibilities.
All of the figures in this series were created by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, inventor and practitioner of the Yamaguchi-style articulation system. By standardizing the revolver joint, this series achieves both high quality and a reasonable price.
