AC/DC 50th Anniversary Vinyl (Gold Vinyl)
1977: Their fourth original album, "Let There Be Rock" (Japanese title: Rock Spirit)
Released in Australia in March 1977, the international version released that summer featured AC/DC's iconic logo for the first time. It's said that Angus's amplifier overheated and caught fire while recording the solo part of the title track. Through their energetic activities, including a UK tour, the band established a unique position in the UK, amid the punk movement. This album is packed with classic songs and riffs from AC/DC's early days, such as "Rock Spirit," "Bad Boy Boogie," and "Whole Lotta Rosie," which became staples in live shows. "Whole Lotta Rosie" was also famously covered by Guns N' Roses. Released on gold vinyl to commemorate the band's 50th anniversary.
