The N1 and N2 formations based in Sendai are reproduced with gray underfloor bogies.
The train is fitted with a printed "Special" train marking, and includes the "Hatsukari," "Michinoku," "Hibari," and "Hitachi" trains from the revival service, which were printed in text and illustrations on the front and rear of the formation.
The model type and affiliation are pre-printed.
The car number comes with a realistic metal transfer sheet.
The side destination display windows are separate parts, and selectable, realistic back-sticker stickers are included.
Clear parts are attached to the side indicator lights.
The headlights are illuminated with warm white LEDs, the taillights with red LEDs, and the front display with white LEDs.
The roof is reproduced in gray.
Due to the large body, this set of 6 cars is configured with two powered cars.
