Simon will continue to contribute to the creation of a recycling-oriented society by reducing our environmental impact at every stage. "Hand safety" and "foot safety" are our unchanging themes. Since the sensational launch of Simon leather work gloves in 1957, we have introduced a variety of groundbreaking products, including environmentally friendly non-chrome leather gloves and safety shoes, including Japan's first lightweight resin toe cap. Based on the concept of "fun safety shoes," we have proactively pioneered new fields, including the development of Japan's first SX triple-soled safety shoes, the development of a lightweight, incinerable ACM resin toe cap as an alternative to steel, and the establishment of industry standards. Simon has also made many other pioneering achievements, including pioneering the mass production of foamed polyurethane double-layer safety shoes and receiving the first Good Design Award in the safety shoe industry.
