Product Introduction
Product Introduction This 1/350 scale set features carrier-based aircraft from the first half of the Pacific War! This is an unpainted 1/350-scale kit requiring glue assembly and painting. It uses molds from the previous (G-up series) series. Several carrier-based aircraft were deployed and prototyped between 1944 and 1945, the latter half of the Pacific War. The Zero Fighter, which had long served as the main carrier-based fighter and had been continually improved, was undergoing prototype development. The Ryusei, a carrier-based attack aircraft capable of bombing and torpedo attacks, began land deployment in 1945. The Suisei carrier-based bomber, which suffered from malfunctions of its liquid-cooled engine and difficulties in increasing production, was redesigned to use an air-cooled engine, and the Type 33 began mass production in the summer of 1944. The Zero Fighter Type 21, which had traditionally supported the front lines, was equipped with a 250kg bomb in the fuselage and was carried on carriers. The unique sculpting of the 1/350 scale makes it a perfect match for 1/350-scale aircraft carriers. This set includes three aircraft types: carrier-based fighter, bomber, and bomber, all in one, eliminating the need to purchase each aircraft separately. This model lineup is compatible with the 1/350 scale aircraft carrier Zuikaku and aircraft carrier-based aircraft from 1944 onward. Contents: 10 Zero fighters, 10 bomber-equipped Zero fighters, and 10 Suisei bombers, a total of 30 aircraft. The molded-in color is transparent, and the canopies are masked and painted for a realistic finish. Decals are included, including the Japanese flag and tail identification markings. Compatible Aircraft Carriers: Compatible with aircraft carriers such as the Zuikaku. Zero Fighter: Based on the Type 52, which had narrower wingtip width than the Type 21. Each aircraft contains seven parts (fuselage, windshield, propeller, drop tank, main landing gear, and tail wheel). The separate parts allow for more realistic shapes than previous models, such as the main landing gear struts and covers, and the tail wheel. The drop tanks, propeller, and windshield are separate parts, making it easy to paint them differently. Includes 10 aircraft. ●Suisei Carrier-Based Bomber ・Based on the Type 33, which replaced its malfunctioning liquid-cooled engine with the air-cooled Venus engine. ・Each aircraft contains seven parts (fuselage, windshield, propeller, drop tank, main landing gear, and tail wheel). ・The separate parts accurately recreate the distinctive underwing drop tanks and the enlarged nose of the aircraft due to the addition of the air-cooled engine. ・The propeller and windshield are separate parts, making it easy to paint them differently. Includes 10 aircraft. ●A6M Zero Carrier-Based Fighter (Bomb Loaded) ・Based on the wide-wingspan Type 21 carrier-based fighter with a bomb loadout that could carry 250 kg bombs. ・Each aircraft contains seven parts (fuselage, windshield, propeller, main landing gear, tail wheel, and 250 kg bomb). - The parts are separated to create a more realistic design for the main landing gear struts and covers, as well as the bombs. - The bombs and propellers are separate parts, making painting easy. - Includes two aircraft. *This product is made in Japan. *This is a plastic model kit that requires assembly.
