KATO N Gauge E531 Series Joban Line/Ueno-Tokyo Line Accessory Set (5 Cars) 10-1846 Model Train

This product features the E531 series K403 (basic formation) and K457 (additional formation) belonging to Katsuta Rolling Stock Center. The reinforced skirts installed after 2009 are reproduced. The underfloor equipment, painted light gray, characteristic of vehicles entering Koriyama Rolling Stock Center for inspection, is also reproduced. The additional formation set (5 cars) has been modified for one-man operation, recreating the configuration with a platform position detection device installed on the leading car. The use of a slotless motor ensures even smoother and quieter running. The headlights and taillights on each leading car are illuminated and equipped with a light-off switch (except for KuHa E530-3). All cars use body-mounted close-coupling couplers (without hooks) for coupling. Only the leading end of KuHa E530-3 uses a dummy coupler. Destination display stickers include information compatible with operation on the Ueno-Tokyo Line. The package allows the Basic Set (4 cars) to be stored in the bookcase of Add-on Set A (4 cars), and the contents of Add-on Set B (2 cars) can also be stored in the bookcase of the included train set (5 cars).
