Kuriyama Hideki
CBO of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters/ Born in 1961 in Tokyo. Joined the Yakult Swallows from Tokyo Gakugei University. After retiring from active duty, he went through a career as a sportscaster, university professor, etc., and became the manager of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. They won the league in their first year in 2012, and in '16 they led the team to number one in Japan for the first time in 10 years. In '23, he became number one in the WBC (World Baseball Classic) world as coach of the Japanese national baseball team “Samurai Japan”. In '24, he became CBO (Chief Baseball Officer), who is the chief executive of the Nippon Ham team.
