Yama Matsugai Foods Natural Brew Kyushu Maru Soy Sauce 900ml Made Kyushu-grown Wheat Soybeans Cultivated Without Pesticides Chemical Fertilizers Using

Product Description: Uses non-GMO ingredients sourced from Kyushu. Made with Kyushu-grown whole soybeans and wheat, cultivated without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, along with mineral-rich sun-dried salt. This soy sauce is made exclusively from Kyushu whole soybeans, without any additives or genetically modified soybeans. What is whole soybean soy sauce? Whole soybeans are referred to as "maru daizu," while soybeans that have had the oil removed for soy sauce production are called "defatted soybeans." In the past, whole soybeans were the main ingredient in soy sauce, but because they contain oil that floats on top of the freshly pressed soy sauce, the oil was removed. As a result, it became mainstream to use "defatted soybeans" processed for soy sauce production. Soy sauce made from whole soybeans has a unique characteristic where the oil breaks down during fermentation, resulting in a "mellow" and "deep umami" flavor. Particularly, whole soybeans cultivated in Japan without pesticides or chemical fertilizers during the growing period are considered rare. Continuing the traditional brewing techniques: Awaya - Matsui Foods. Located in Matsui, Shiranui Town, facing the calm waters of the Shiranui Sea on the southern coast of the Uto Peninsula. Matsui Foods was established in 1827 under the name "Awaya." In this town, blessed with a warm climate and abundant seafood, which thrived as one of the leading fishing ports in the Higo domain, we have been brewing soy sauce, miso, and vinegar for nearly 200 years. We continue to create carefully crafted products that add a era's aroma to the traditional flavors we still uphold. No added chemical seasonings. Uses Kyushu soybeans and Kyushu wheat.
