★When using the iron kettle for the first time after purchase, you will need to boil water and discard it two or three times. The water is safe to drink once it becomes colorless. It takes approximately two weeks for the iron kettle to begin to show its full potential. Therefore, we recommend using the iron kettle daily during this period.
★To heat the iron kettle and boil water, burning charcoal is of course the best method, but you can also use a gas range or induction cooktop. However, in that case, be sure to use low heat.
★Under no circumstances should you wash the inside of the iron kettle with detergent or scrub it with a scouring pad. Doing so will damage the inner coating of the iron kettle.
★Good for your health, iron teapots continuously release Fe2+ during the heating process, which is easily absorbed by the body.
